Founded by a French woman over 30 years ago, Chantilly Lace has always operated under one guiding philosophy: the right lingerie and sleepwear don’t just change your look, they change your outlook.
Thirty years on the North Shore

1995 · Georgette Opens the Doors
A French woman opens a lingerie boutique in Wilmette. Bella, who came from Kiev, joined shortly after.

2015 · Larisa Buys the Shop
She knew little about lingerie. Bella taught her, and together they built the business into what it is today.

2017 · Room to Grow
Seeking more space, the shop moves to Plaza del Lago.

2020 · The Comfort Project
When the stay-at-home order closed the shop, Larisa created the Comfort Project and delivered cozy sleepwear to hundreds of nurses on the front lines. It earned the Curve Philanthropic Excellence Award, and in 2021 The Best of Intima named Chantilly Lace its Community Support winner.

2023 · Home at 1177 Wilmette Avenue
